MIKEL BELATZ
He is a cartoonist who is professionally dedicated to illustration and comics. In addition to working in Mikel Urmeneta's creative team, Belatz has made different
comics and illustrated numerous children's stories for different local and international publishers, highlighting a job for an English publisher in which he made the book adaptation of the work "The Nightmare Before Christmas" and which was supervised by Tim Burton himself. In 2018 he published a graphic novel about the life of the anarchist Lucio Urtubia "El Tesoro de Lucio" (Ed. Txalaparta) that has been reissued, through other publishers, in Basque, Galician, Catalan, Danish and French. He is currently working on his next graphic novel that will be released in 2022.
